Surgical Complication Guarantee

These T&Cs apply to the "Surgical Complication Guarantee" (“the Guarantee"). The Guarantee is available at Rowe Veterinary Referrals only and entitles clients to medical or surgical treatment following the below surgical procedures undertaken by Rowe Veterinary Referrals (where payment has been made for the initial procedure in accordance with Rowe Veterinary Referrals’ standard payment terms):

  • Cataract surgery
  • Corneo-conjunctival Transposition
  • Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy
  • Total Hip Replacement
  • Spinal surgery for intervertebral disc protrusion (does not cover disc protrusion at a different site)

The Guarantee is available when payment in full is received, or an insurance claim submitted, for the initial surgical procedure invoice provided by Rowe Veterinary Referrals and is valid for 12 months from that date (“the Guarantee Period”). The Guarantee only applies to dogs and cats who are healthy enough to undergo a general anaesthetic and surgery, as determined by a vet of Rowe Veterinary Referrals at their sole discretion. The Guarantee does not cover unrelated problems arising during the Guarantee Period, and any complications that arise beyond the Guarantee Period are not covered.

Rowe Veterinary Referrals reserves the right to withdraw, terminate, modify and/or suspend the Guarantee at any time, for any reason and without notice. Rowe Veterinary Referrals shall not be liable for any losses (whether financial or otherwise) arising out of the refusal, cancellation or withdrawal of the Guarantee or any failure or inability of a client to take advantage of the Guarantee for any reason.

Ongoing medications are not covered by the Guarantee and Rowe Veterinary Referrals does not accept responsibility for the cost of any treatment carried out elsewhere. The Guarantee does not include disc extrusion/protrusion at different sites. It is the responsibility of the client to transport their pet to Rowe Veterinary Referrals.
