Peri graduated in 1996 from Munich, Germany and worked since 2000 in the UK. Peri has over 13 years experience in examining and managing canine and feline skin disease. Peri has completed an ECVD recognised residency training programme which enabled her to fulfill the requirements to take the examination to become a Diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2012. Peri has also worked for several years as a clinician and teacher for the dermatology service at the Bristol University.
Peri has offered a consultancy veterinary dermatology service in the South West since 2011. She holds a weekly dermatology clinic at the Bradley Stoke Hospital and will be available for a range of dermatology referrals including:
- Allergic skin disease
- Pruritus of unknown origin
- Alopecia of unknown origin
- Otitis externa/media
- Recurrent or unresponsive pyoderma
- Parasitic skin diseases
- Infectious skin diseases
- Auto-immune skin disease
- Claw diseases
- Disorders of keratinisation or pigmentation
Her aim is to give excellent patient and client care and to work closely with the referring practice, which includes bespoke treatment programmes and follow up consultations as appropriate to each case and supplements this with ongoing telephone advice & management for referred cases.
Peri is also happy to give full advice to veterinary surgeons on each case and its suitability for referral.
