Ian Jennings

Ian graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2004, after attaining an honours degree in Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh. After spending 3 years at a busy practice in the West Midlands, he moved back to his home city of Bristol, to join the Rowe Veterinary Group in 2007.

He has always had a keen interest in all aspects of Neurology and Diagnostic imaging and gained the RCVS certificate, in diagnostic imaging, in 2011, becoming an advanced practitioner in 2015. He has had a key role developing and running our referral imaging services and has well over a decade of experience in the interpretation of MRI, allowing an immediate, on-site assessment of our patients.

He began our dedicated neuroimaging referral service in 2019 and has since achieved a post-graduate certificate in Veterinary Neurology, allowing him to combine all of his experience to treat a wide range of clinical disorders in our small animal patients.

He lives with his wife and two young daughters and in his spare time he tries to be as active as possible, enjoying all sports, but particularly rugby union supporting the local Bristol team.
