European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine and RCVS Specialist in Small Animall Medicine
Kate runs a chronic medicine clinic most Mondays.
Kate qualified from Bristol approximately 20 years ago followed by a post-graduate residency there. After her residency Kate worked at Rowe for two years seeing referral cases and then returned to Bristol Vet school for nine years to run the intensive care and medicine referral services. Since then Kate has worked in Bath and Bristol, mainly seeing chronic medical cases. Kate also works for Idexx laboratories as an internal medicine consultant, therefore chronic cases such as chronic vomiting or diarrhoea, chronic cough, sneezing or nasal discharge are the most appropriate cases for her to see with a one-day per week clinic. It would be inappropriate to take on acute medical cases however she will happily discuss such cases and give advice.
Kate is very happy for patients to have had recent full bloods performed prior to referral as well as abdominal imaging in vomiting/diarrhoea cases. She can provide more guidance on the bloods that are useful in such cases.
If you have any queries regarding possible referrals please direct enquiries to the general referrals reception (01454 521000 opt 3 or email@example.com)
